In the current system, for example, players given second pick on blue side have no ban and are fourth pick overall, meaning the chances of getting a power pick or a counter pick are pretty slim.

Enemy team has 3 x S3, one S5 and to even tings out; one S2. And this extreme example is just one game of many were it was obvious that the outcome of the game was if not decided so a at least heavily influenced by a very bad matchmaking. For me this has become increasingly saddening, to the point where I am more or less losing interest in ranked games. What is the point of me measuring my skill vs other players when the outcome of games has less and less to do with skill, and more and more with RNG?
Yes, at the end of the day the element of chance will even out and skill will be the only determining factor setting you apart from other players, but when the element of chance is too high it all but eradicates the skill factor. It can honestly not be that hard to improve matchmaking. A simple way to determine a players skill level would be to take that players stats on their top 5 most played champions, measure those stats against an average on those same champions, and then factor that in when comparing MMR.
Would it be a complete and fair comparison? Would it be eons better than the matchmaking we currently have?

Limits like fear are often just an illusion Posts 1, There are several reasons that your clan could be experiencing an extended search time. The first is simply that you are searching with a very uncommon roster perhaps unintended. The second is your roster is intentionally engineered to a point that there are also no suitable matches for your clan. This can be caused by excessive bottom end loading including low THs in an otherwise high TH clan or including very exotic or engineered accounts in your roster such as high offense low defense accounts or other unnatural builds.
Consider adding or removing accounts to change the size of war your are searching for potentially giving you a more common line up. Remove any excessive amount of low fillers at the bottom of your roster. Exclude any exotic or unnatural accounts from your roster when you search. Another alternative is to split the clan. Have a “feeder” clan where the low townhalls war, and the main where the heavies reside. Its from FAQ war Matchmaking.

With Patch Bioware made some changes to the matchmaking with Galactic Starfighter. Holy shit, I want to go back to that. I had an advanced X-wing and a Nova courier, one that I customized for so long to get it how I wanted it. Oh, those were the days. I miss that game so much. LOL I played GSF for like 9 minutes the day it came.
Although I think our issue is a severe bug and not appropriately placed in general discussion, I will describe the problem here again. I still have not given up hope, although I do not feel that currently somebody in charge really tried to understand the issue we are suffering from. With the latest release matchmaking is not working for us anymore. I will try to describe the issue as good as I can and I would be very happy if you take my observations serious.
